Goodbye, Japan.

I'm flying to New York tomorrow, barely in time for classes. I will be in grad school for a minimum of one and a half years, and it appears likely that I may not even return to Japan in that period (though I am trying to work out a summer break where I can work in Tokyo).

My flight leaves Narita at 11:00 AM Japan time. I have a few hours to finish packing, and apart from two suitcases I am carrying with me a guitar and a bicycle. The last few days have been far too busy for any last-minute nostalgia, but I'll probably miss Tokyo very much anyway.

My next post should be from New York. Once I get settled in, that is.

Hey there !

hisashiburi dane...

I was just wondering what you became and found back your good old page. Reading your last post gave me the nostalgia of the too few but memorable evenings spent in your apartment, as well as our wanderings in Tokyo.

I see you are off for a new life in NY : all the best there ! I wish I could visit you there some day, and at the same time discover the US, oddly a terra incognita to me.

I am now in southern China, struggling to keep up as a financial controller on a new Valeo site. Hong Kong is just 2 hours away, but no time for anything with this busy life...

Give some fresh news from the city that never sleeps !

Cheers,

Marek
